With many girl groups debuting every year, the competition has gotten tougher than ever in the k-pop music scene. The girl group who came out on top and took the first place the fastest was MISS A! They won with their debut track "Bad Girl Good Girl", within 22 days of debuting on KBS's "Music Bank".
2NE1 took second place with their song "Fire" on SBS "Inkigayo" 40 days after their debut
4Minute took third place with their song "Muzik" also on "Inkigayo" 115 days after their debut.
SNSD took 115 days aswell to reach the 4th place with their Lee Seung Chul remake of "Girls Generation" on "Inkigayo"
Groups that follow are After School with 340 days, SECRET with 480 days, the Brown Eyed Girlswith 703 days, and KARA with 718 days.
