miss A’s Fei poses cutely, despite her headache

On February 27th, miss A’s Fei delighted her fans with two cute photo uploads on her Twitter. Unfortunately, it seems that the idol was suffering from a terrible headache during the time that she took the pictures.

She commented, “It’s been a few days since I got [these] headaches! Ahhh I think I’m going to go crazy!! Since today’s Sunday, I visited the pharmacy with Jaeho-oppa in Kangnam! ㅠㅠㅠㅠ Poor me! I’m massaging my head with a ‘finger!’ ㅠㅠㅠㅠ”

2PM’s Taecyeon, Wooyoung & miss A’s Suzy share their thoughts on concluding “Dream High”

On the morning of February 28th, 2PM’s Taecyeon, Wooyoung, and miss A’s Suzy expressed their feelings on finally concluding their much-loved drama, “Dream High.”

Suzy, who played the role of ‘Hyemi’, expressed, “I feel both refreshed and upset. It was my first project as well as leading role, so I worried over a lot of things. Fortunately, I’m able to conclude ‘Dream High’ amidst the love and support of my drama family. I know I was lacking, but I’ll work on my skills in order to improve as an actress and meet you all again. My ‘Dream High’ family, my miss A unnis, and all of those who loved ‘Dream High’, thank you. I will never forget the winter I spent life as ‘Go Hyemi.’”

Ok Taecyeon, who played the role of ‘Hyun Shihyuk’, commented, “It was an opportunity for me to work with seniors, as well as grow as ‘actor Ok Taeyeon’. I was worried over whether I’d be able to do okay since I was playing the lead role in only my second project, but through the help and support of my friends, my acting junior J.Y. Park, and all of the staff members who helped the drama shine, I was able to take part in a meaningful project. It was very cold filming in the winter, but I spent a winter which was just as beautiful.”

Wooyoung, who played the role of ‘Jason’, concluded, “How could it be, ‘Dream High’ is already coming to an end!! I was nervous, especially since it was my first acting debut and because of the amount of English lines I had, but I was able to overcome it all thanks to the help of 2PM’s Taecyeon, and my seniors and directors. It was an extremely meaningful start and experience, so I’d like to thank all of those who supported and loved ‘Jason’.”

Suzy And Park ShinYang's Parallelism of cuteness

On the 26th, a picture with the title “Suzy and Park ShinYang‘s parallelism”, was been uploaded onto an online community site, bestiz.

The picture was capture shots of the dramas, Dream High and Sign. Kim SooHyun was pinching Suzy‘s cheeks in Dream High, while Kim AhJoong was pinching Park ShinYang‘s cheeks in Sign. Netizens were amused by the similarities in these two scenes.

The parents of Miss A member Suzy open a coffee shop

Miss A‘s Suzy‘s parents have now opened a new coffee shop. They previously ran a BoonShik(Flour-Based Meals) shop in GuangJu. Now, they changed the shop into a coffee shop and are preparing to open it.

JYP staff stated,

“Suzy’s parents will be selling fruit juice as well as many other drinks in their to-be-opened coffee shop.”

“They will be changing their shop into a coffee shop. The parents have been preparing for it before Suzy’s debut. It’s not a sudden decision.”

Regardless of how good the shop is, which I am sure it will be great, you just know people will flock there in hopes of a glimpse of Suzy, or even just to say they have been there.

Jia and Fei Copycats

miss A member Jia posted a comical picture. The picture is of her and fellow miss A member Fei. The two of them are standing next to a statue and appear to be mimicking its appearance.

It seems that Jia resembles the statue more with perfect placement of the hands. I’m guessing the glasses are not real and were just added on by her.

'Dream High' to continue with a Season 2?

Will we be able to watch the popular drama Dream High next year too?

Fans are currently speculating whether there will be a season two of the drama, which airs on Mondays and Tuesdays. The drama recently reached number 1 in viewer ratings, and as the drama comes to an end this week, the production team has revealed the possibility of a second season.

Dream High follows the long lasting trend of high school love stories and adventures that started in 1999, with the drama School. Some dramas, like Boys over Flowers and God of Study, were popular because of the big demand in idol-actors. With popular celebrities like Kim SooHyun, miss A‘s Suzy, 2PM‘s Taecyeon, T-ARA‘s Eunjung, IU, 2PM’s Wooyoung, and many more, it is no wonder Dream High is doing so well viewer wise.

As of now, Season 2 has yet to be confirmed, but let’s hope KBS will agree to continue on next year!

‘Dream High’ Protects Their Throne as the Top Monday-Tuesday Drama in Pursuit of ‘Midas’

The first episode of SBS’s new Monday-Tuesday drama ‘Midas’ left a strong impression. However, ‘Dream High’ (KBS2) proved with their latest broadcast that the throne for the strongest Monday-Tuesday drama could not be usurped.

According to the viewer rating search engine, AGB Nielson Media Research, on the 23rd, the broadcast of ‘Dream High’ on the 22nd got a viewer rating mark of 17.9%. This number went up by .3 points from the previous day (17.6%). Due to the viewer rating points persistently increasing, there is now much interest in whether the last installment of ‘Dream High’ will be able to break past 20% in its finality.

During the credits for the latest episode of ‘Dream High’ there was a surprise of about a minute and a half of NG scenes that once again amused the viewers.

On the other hand, airing in the same time slot, ‘The Duo’ (MBC) received 14.3% and ‘Midas’ received 11.5%.

4Minute’s Hyun ah trust Jia completely!

Jia and 4Minute’s Hyun ah have shown great friendship since training ship in JYP until today. Jia is the sweet girl that you can depend on, especially when it comes to something like the Chinese language. She will not be the one to trick you.

On the episode 4 of 4Minute’s Mr. Teacher, they were asked about what does Malaysian people greet each other on new year. the hint they received as in chinese, so they received a phone call. 4Minute’s maknae So Hyun suggested Miss A’s Meng Jia. And it was Hyun ah who used it to call Jia, knowing that she would sincereley help out.

Say what? Miss A grabbed another award?

You got that right. Miss A grabbed yet another award at 2011 Korean Music Award. The 8th Korean Music Awards took place on February 23rd at the Olympic Park Financial Hall in Seoul. The only idol to attend the ceremony was miss A, who took home the "Best Dance & Electronic Song" for "Bad Girl Good Girl".

miss A surprises Suzy..

..with a visit on the "Dream High" set!

miss A’s Min, Fei, and Jia recently guested on tvN’s “Taxi“, and they decided to make a surprise visit to their maknae, who was filming for her on-going drama, “Dream High“.

Upon entering the film set, the girls immediately took notice of the freezing weather and exclaimed, “I think we know how much Suzy suffers now.” In order to ‘warm’ up the atmosphere, the girls performed their hit track “Breathe” right then and there!

When asked to comment on the criticisms about Suzy’s acting, the members honestly answered, “Suzy is actually good at acting, but I think it’s because of her awkward facial expressions that caused this issue. We’re helping her with her script-reading every chance we get.”

Min also revealed, “Suzy is the tallest out of us all, but she started wearing insoles first. If Suzy uses one insole, Fei uses two. Then I inevitably have to use three!”

Later, Min made a surprising confession when she revealed, “When I received training in the U.S., I dated an American boy.” Min then described her ex as a cute ‘hip hop style’ boy.

When asked about her previous debut in the U.S, she replied, “At the time, Park Jin Young told me that I ‘didn’t have the face to debut in Korea.’ He said that Americans preferred Asian faces, and that it’d be beneficial for me to debut there. I had to go on a diet while training, and since I love eating, it was difficult. I hid hamburgers in my bag and ate it secretly.”

Miss A's LesMore photo shoot

Miss A had a photo shoot with LesMore, a multi brand shoe store. In the released pictorial, Miss A showed off their sleek legs by wearing miniskirts, hot pants, and sensual shoes. Jia showed off flexibility through yoga positions and Suzy, her charming figure and milky legs through poses that accentuated the shoes, both receiving much attention.

LesMore said, “The girlish loafers Fei wore are comfortable and produce a sensuous impression, and with the release of loafers in various colors and accessory points, customers can create an even more attractive style. Suzy and Jia wore sneakers with strong colors to go with their colorful and tight attire and show an active and sensual style,” proposing several clothing styles.

“Dream High” dominates primetime slot for 6th week

KBS drama “Dream High” has beat out its competitors in the Mondays and Tuesdays primetime slot for the sixth week, according to surveys by major media research firms on Wednesday.

The drama about the lives and dreams of six teenagers who wish to debut on stage someday, reported an average viewership rating of 16.8 percent on Total National Multimedia Research’s (TNmS) chart and 17.7 percent on AGB Nielsen Media Research’s (AGB) poll, showing no change in overall figures from last week.

In this week’s episode, Baek-hee (Eunjung) reveals to the media the truth behind Jin-guk’s (Taecyeon) assault of the boss of their talent agency -- that he was saving her from being sexually abused -- therefore saving his honor. In the process, she also reconciles with her long-lost friend Hye-mi (Suzy).

Meanwhile the three, along with Sam-dong (Kim Soo-hyun), Pil-sook (IU) and Jason (Wooyoung) form a six-member group named “Dream High” but the former scandal continues to stand in their way of making a TV debut.

Suzy’s photos from her childhood acting days

It seems like miss A’s Suzy had always felt the call to act, as demonstrated by these photos from her elementary school’s musical.

In the pictures, fans were able to see young Suzy acting diligently as fairy queen ‘Titania’ from “A Midsummer Night’s Dream“. The play was done when Suzy was in sixth grade, and although she wore makeup and had a heavy costume, fans noted that she was as beautiful then as she is now.

Some even noted that her facial expression back then reminded them of Suzy’s current character, ‘Go Hyemi’, from KBS’s “Dream High”.

Miss A's Min choses Chansung over Nichkun!

Miss A's Min recently revealed that she likes Chansung more than Nichkun.


On a recent broadcast of 100 points out of 100, Shinhwa’s Kim Dong Wan asked Min, “Between2PM members Chansung and Nichkhun, who do you like more?”, to which she chose Chansung, stating that, “He has a pretty butt”, causing her fellow cast members to erupt into laughter.


Chansung, who also happened to be a guest on this episode, provided evidence for Min’s confession, as he performed “I’ll Be Back” while showing off his charming curves.


Kim Dong Wan, after stating that he “can’t lose when it comes to butts”, began dancing to Shinhwa’s hit song, “Eusha Eusha”, which contains a butt dance, and he had a short butt competition against Chansung.


On this same episode, Min, who studied abroad when she was younger, showed off her fluent English and Chinese skills, amazing the cast.
