Dream High filming set to be opened to the public

The city of Goyang in Gyeonggi-do expressed on April 28th that they will open up the filming site of Kirin Arts High School, which was featured in the KBS2TV drama “Dream High”, to the general public.

The filming location at Ilsandong-gu composes of the director’s office used by Bae Yong Jun, the performance stage, practice room, the room used by IU and Kim Soo Hyun. Also, the sound system, storyboard, photo zones, props and merchandise, etc. will all be set up.

It will be open for free from April 30th to June 12th (10am to 5pm). Groups should make advance bookings with the official Dream High fan cafe for admission (http://cafe.naver.com/dreamhighgoyang), while individuals can visit the place directly.

In future, the city has plans to provide school field trips as well as a place for spring picnics. During the 16th Goyang Korea Flower Festival, tour buses are also scheduled to run once a day from May 1st to 15th.

On April 26th, representatives of JYP Entertainment spoke through TV Report and announced, “miss A will be releasing a new album in May.”

The girls are currently finalizing preparations for its release. As expected, the album was produced byJ.Y. Park. The representative continued, “They’ll be actively promoting the album in Korea.”

2PM-Wondergirls-MissA to lead campaign on overcoming high oil prices

Park Jinyoung and various assigned artists from JYP Entertainment will be leading a campaign against high oil prices and energy conservation.

2PM, Wondergirls, and Miss A will be conducting a multimedia campaign in e-daily "2011 green energy family campaign" to encourage the citizens.

Passionate boy group 2PM started the campaign with "Energy conservation with 2PM, carbon diet" which started on the 25th and garnered a lot of attention.
The campaign will last for three months until June 20th. Wondergirls will resume the campaign from June to August with the campaign message "Energy conservation with Wondergirls". Miss A will be taking over from September to November.

The campaign's progress can be followed through with e-daily's homepage. The netizens can participate and all of the accumulated funds will be donated to children and low-income families and other necessitites.

2PM will be participating on the first campaign. 4 participants will be chosen by 2pm and will be presented a special gift from them.

'Green Family Campaign' started on 2009 with participants such as Lee Minho, Yoon Eunhye, Girls' Generation, and Han Jihye. This campaign is sponsored by Korea Energy Management Corporation.

miss A attended MBC 50th anniversary in Bangkok

Last month, MBC celebrated their 50th foundation anniversary with a massive Korean Music celebration that took Bangkok, Thailand by storm.

The MBC "Korean Music Wave in Bangkok" featured SNSD's Tiffany & Yuri and 2PM's Nichkhun as MCs. With performances by TVXQ, Son Dambi, CN BLUE, 4minute, T-ara, FT Island, 2AM, SG Wannabe, BEAST, MBLAQ, Brown Eyed Girls, After School, Secret, SISTAR, Norazo, miss A, Wonder Girls, and of course, 2PM and SNSD, one could say that this just may be one of the most star-studded line-ups ever.

At the beginning of the Bad Girl Good Girl performance, fireworks were shot up to the sky from the stage announcing the appearance of miss A. Many fans were startled, but they soon got over it as they started to sing and dance a long with miss A. One can say that miss A is indeed famous in Thailand, given the cheering during their performance.

There's no doubt about the JYP Nation love here, as miss A stayed along singing 10 out of 10 points with their seniors, 2PM. In addition to this, they had a dance break which many know as the "JYP Sisters" dance. Fei, Jia, Min and two other 2PM members had a small break with the JYP Sisters dance routine which had been previously performed for the JYP Nation concert.

There is a lot of anticipation for the new release as it is expected to cause another syndrome. On 13 April 2554 at 8PM in Seoul, Kim Ki Bum from Super Junior had finally attended a party, after being away from the Kpop scene for a long time, at the VIP premier for the movie, The Most Beautiful Goodbye (세상에서 가장 아름다운 이별).

The Most Beautiful Goodbye, produced by the famous Min Kyu Dong, has a story about a girl’s mother having alsheimer’s disease, a husband who doesn’t care for her at all, as well as a daughter who doesn’t listen to anything the mother says. The mother played her role as a mother, a wife, and many others to the best of her abilities, until one dayshe realizes she has cancer, and says her sweet last goodbyes.

The Most Beautiful Goodbye will be in theaters starting from April 21st.

JYPE’s surprise gifts

Recently, JYPE recently gifted two of their miss A members, Fei and Jia, with a two week ’special break’ for them to visit their hometown back in China. A JYPE representative stated, “The two cried a lot from being so touched by the present they never thought they’d get.
